So there I was all booked up in New Jersey to save money and a New York friend said they knew a hotel in Manhattan for the same price. So I cancelled and booked the one they recommended. Then I checked it out online, cancelled, tried to rebook New Jersey, who wouldn't have me back for my impudence, lied that they were full, and booked somewhere else with bulletproof glass at the checkin desk
