there's a vacancy at my work for a trainee RPA (radiation protection advisor). we were told about it in today's staff meeting.

there are people who WILL apply for it and in my opinion are far more likely to get the job than if i applied.

anyway, my line manager said "tom... blah blah... you've got a physics degree... blah blah... have you thought of applying?"

i said no, as i hadn't and i was searching the internet for teacher training courses. should i think about applying?
