did you move towns/cities/villages/countries/post codes when you were younger? did you like it? was it a problem? did you get into any scrapes moving house?

when i was younger we moved about 5 times i think. all within about 1 mile. 1 was opposite the "notorious" mental hospital in frien barnet. there were a lot of outpatients. one used to comb my sisters hair in the laundrette. one came round our house and told my dad she used to live there, until he worked, "she was just fucking MAD".

maybe i should have called this thread "location location location"?
