This is a tricky one.

Something inside me wants england to lose against israel just so McClaren is shown the door along with Fatty Barwick and the rest of the FA cheeses responsible for appointing him in the first place. Not since Cloughie have the powers that be made such a horrifically wrong decision as to NOT appoint O'Neill and go for yes-man McClaren, and all because 'he gave 2 good interviews'.

So England lose, fail to qualify for Euro 2008 (sad) but then appoint the right man in time to win WC 2010 (happy).

Probably been discussed before but hey, i'm bored. Humour me.
