i'm mainly talking about your bog-standard office arrangement here

if you do, is it just a communal radio, or some sort of democratically selected cd? or do you have the luxury of personal choice via an iPod or such?

the reason i ask is because the last couple of days i was doing a temp office job. the job itself was about as repetitive as you can get, but i would have found it far more bearable if there was any noise other than the photocopier. christ, i'd even accept listening to Key 103 all day (*manchestercentric).

i really can't see myself having a long-term career where music isn't present in some form
