the xbox360 died last night, three flashing red lights of death death death is all it'll do

has anyone elses done this? where did you send it? back to microsoft or independent? we are looking at GTelectronics..anyone heard of/used them? good/bad?

it's warranty just ran out last month, apparently 85% of them sold at the start of last year have done this. pretty poo huh?
