so on Sunday I went with my dad, bro and sis to a 'solid silver 60's show' at our local theatre. such delights as Wayne Fontana, John Walker (of the Walker Brothers fame), The Merseybeats and The Searchers were playing all their old classics.

The audience were of course getting on a bit but during the Searchers set at the end everyone got up and danced in their seats or the aisles and relived their heady 60s days. The best part though was when I saw an old couple doing the twist to each other during twist and shout, it was amazing and bought a warm glow to the soul.
