Even his surname is creepy (probably something to do with the actor Lon Chaney from the 30s) - a deeply sinister bureaucratic pen pusher who - for crying out loud - must be 'of the night for surviving SIX heart attacks. He is the dark actor who runs America and nver appears in public with Bush and is STILL yacking on about Iran even though the Republicans have zero credibility and seems to ignore the 'lame duck' aura of the Presidency.

'Funnily' enough he is the first VP in eons not to be standing for election to the 'top job', which is usually standard practice at the end of a two term run - I wonder why that is?
