God, we're so indie round here aren't we? I love crappy seven inches and Fierce Panda have made loads ('crappy' in a nice way as in 'homegrown' or something) - my favourite Fierce Panda single is 'Same Band' by Ultrasound. I broke my copy and wept but then discovered they had copies for sale on the internet and they sent me one for about a pound and it was sent in a recycled envelope - fantastic and all cottagy. It makes you want to let them off for Coldplay.

And anyway I'll always like Simon Williams for being an ace journo and for liking The Fa***ty for 8 minutes.
