At university it did - I of course went home and ate sandwiches and played my guitar who wrote a diatribe about Ocean Colour Scene whilst others went 'mad' and 'alky' at the pub or played good old sport and wore one of those blue jackets with the university name on the back and always had the same ruddy cheeks and vinegary mouth.

Why can't work have wednesday afternoons for 'recreation'?

Actually my Wednesday afternoon at University wasn't that different than any other. It still involved 15 to 1 and Ready Steady Cook. And weeping.
