I got told yesterday that our landlord had a cash offer on the property and so have decided that they are going to take it, bank the money and have the interest pay off their rent. They had led us to believe that they were going to buy and so the whole process would take approx 3 months from point of sale. We're in the process on buying and it's never going to go through in 6 weeks! This means that I live on the street OR I move back with the parents til things are finalised. Kill me.
