Would a gay footballer get a shit load of abuse in the Premiership? We've managed to pretty much eradicate racism (although you'll always get the odd idiot), but would the authorities be as harsh on homophobia as they are racism? I'd hope so, but, unfortunately, I really can't see any players coming out any time soon
