Now being a lapsed Catholic I shouldn't really care about this, but every year I always make an effort, like a brave clown smartening himself up for a court appearence after attacking an obese lady in a shopmobility vehicle, to give something 'up' for Lent.

I first did this with sugar in my tea when I was young and have 'never looked back' (though with a hangover sugary tea is frabjous). I gave up cigs on year during my smoking pomp and it was frankly unbearable and I've done the same with drinking but then got accused of being gay or something every time I was within 10 foot range of a Mickey Loosefit, but ANYWAY, what should we all give up for Lent? I also once 'gave up' splaying with my Star Wars figures. But I was 28 at the time (well said, Threepio etc)

I'm going to give up listening to pompous radio and listen only to NEW music.
