I've downloaded a rom for Pokemon Yellow, and obviously, I'm addicted to it, because its the best thing ever.

But I need help.

I'm in Pewter City, and I need to be able to fight Brock. Now, I haven't tried yet, but the thing is, rock Pokemon's weaknesses are grass and water. Since I've got Pikachu, he's useless. Also, the only Pokemon you can catch are fighting types and poison ones at the moment.

Will Butterfree do the job? Coz I have a Metapod that's almost ready to evolve. Or should I just train Pikachu up. He's at level 10.

I also have a level 10 Nidoran male.
