You know, it's the one certainty in life. Nobody is immortal. Everyone goes sometime. But if you could actually pick the way you went, what would it be? Quick and violent and over in a flash? The panic and then surrender of drowning? Would you prefer to be awake and feel those last few moments of existence, or go in your sleep? Are you scared of it?

I think I'd just like to be older, to feel like I was ready and that I'd done the things I wanted to. And I dunno, to have made some kind of peace with the world. And I think I'd like to be awake and feel it happen. It's the last chance you get to feel anything after all, so why wouldn't you.
