Sit down or standing up?

I find it hard to fathom why anybody would want to do it whilst still sitting down. Surely you run the risk of... brushing the paper against something you don't really want to brush the paper against? Perhaps that's the attraction - the old 'will I?/won't I? smear my own excrement against my genitals' thrill
