Utterly pointless. I just got back from seeing The Maccabees, who were, despite my reservations, rather ace (and lovely to interview too). Anyway, I digress. Two lads started fighting and it turned into a pretty vicious ruck, as some other wideboys poured in. The band had to stop the gig to split them up...awful. If you're at a gig you're there for the music, and you've paid good money for that privilege. Why spoil it by getting tetchy about who's standing on your toes or ogling your girlfriend?
