At the moment I have a cold and I'm finding that, having lost my sense of taste, I'm struggling to eat even when I'm hungry.

This has led me to think that I eat primarily not to satisfy my hunger but for the taste of food that I like. This is supported by the fact that I can eat food that I really like even when I'm feeling sick from eating too much.

What about you, do you eat mainly to not be hungry or for the taste of your favourite foods?
