so, after an unusual recent injection of money (it's good to be the eldest AND the only girl, AND to be in a 'foreign' country) from the father unit, i decided to 'fuck it' and go to HMV. last night.

Me and my flatmate walked in and heard this... this.... 'music'. We realised that, not only was a band doing an instore, but that it was none other than, THE VIEW (as seen here http://www.drownedinsound.com/articles/1531691).

I was nearly sick. We walked around the games section complaining to each other, waiting for the noise to stop. which, it did. eventually. BUT. unfortunately for me, every freakin cd i wanted to buy, happened to be in the closed off section, which was populated by indie-ots waving their abouttobe newly purchased and signed 12"s. fuckers.

so i couldn't buy anything i wanted to.
