This afternoon, as I was stepping off the bus from an appointment, my slip on shoe (think Louis XIII) calmly slid off my foot without me even realising it.. which resulted in me stepping right into a big, black puddle of rather festy gutter water - whole foot emmersed in this disgusting and cold black water... My shoe had rolled away, and as an oncomning bus approached, I had no choice but to kick my which then, almost fell down a drain pipe...

I managed to save the day just in time by snatching said shoe and throwing it across the pavement/footpath and stepping out of the way of the oncoming bus... and escaped with merely a skanky foot encased in a rather wet, skanky stocking.

Is it just me, or does this sort of stuff happen to you?
