I've just returned home from Soho. On the bus, at the very top right hand side, sat next to me a black woman of about 60 years of age. She was humming to herself, flicking through the newspaper. After some time, I recognised the tune to be 'Strangers in the night...'

Beautiful.

After a few gasps at the horrors of the London news, she then launched into (softly), 'My way'.

Beautiful.

It made me smile the entire 25 minute bus journey home. Now that can't be so bad, can it?
