I was down there watching and filming my friend's band (as requested) with my camcorder, when the security guy came up to me and told me it wasn't allowed without the permission of the club.

After telling me this he then said something like "you can sign a waiver if you like" which left me even more dubious as I have no idea what on earth I'd be waiving, nor, since he'd already sodded up one song, did I want to try to work out what this would entail midway through the filming.

I'm sure legally they're within in their rights to do this (and I still have no idea what the nature of this waiver would be) but frankly what do they think I'm going to do with this video of some random unsigned band?
