Anyone having a new year that ISN'T rubbish yet?

This has been pretty much the worst week I've had in ages... It's been a combination of arguments, bad news, worrying about stuff... and people.. And I haven't actually slept the past 2 nights because there's been no heating in my house.

Would this time of year always be so rubbish if we hadn't invented calenders?

In conclusion: New year = pants. :(
