I've managed to get a slot at a really nice and suprisingly good small-mediumish London venue, to maybe do a monthly night.

I'd really like to do it PROPERLY...be a good promoter, pay people, not make them bring their mates, but at the same time, I'd like to get at least one relatively well know group, who'd pull some sort of crowd- cos as its a semi decent venue, I'd rather not do the classic shit promoter thing of getting a load of groups no-one has heard of, and try to lure italians in to watch them play.

I guess the capacity of this place is maybe two hundred, and we have a first one booked for March

Want it to be a diverse night, but no dumbass 'stylophone quintet playing carpenters covers' type arsery.
