another week, another man city game right at the tail end of match of the day. this week we were only beaten to the last running spot by a game abandoned due to rain. and that still had more action. we got 3 minutes of highlights out of 90.

ok, its not all bad. we did win today, and our position is fairly secure. at least were not poor watford, who consistently perform admirably but get no joy. we just manage to get by on not much at all. and this aint exactly a new position, its been like this for at least 2 seasons.

so if we use the closeness to front end of motd = excitement/importance of game equation, man city = the most boring team currently in the premiership. QED
