and have been charged with having no car insurance. I do have car insurance though, I was stopped for having no headlights on and asked to take my documents to the police station in 7 days, I couldn't find my insurance certificate and ordered a new one, they said fine come in on the 7th day and if it hadn't arrived yet they'd just put a note on the file and to bring it in when it came, I went on the 7th day it still hadn't come, I said should I bring it when it arrived they said no wait for them to write to me, months later I get a court summons. Im pretty sure im innocent. Any experiences /advice?
