i was talking to a friend about this on christmas eve.

we both thought it'd be a nice idea if ALL people in the country could celebrate the place we live but I couldn't think of any suitable day.

the french have when the broke the yoke from aristocratic misrule and the americans have more or less the same.

what can we celebrate that doesn't involve being cunts to foreigners (the empire) or being cunts to our own people (the industrial revolution)?
