I can't reply to threads. My dad's laptop is the most ancient laptop I've seen I think, about 4 inches thick and veeeeeeeeery slow. I am ill with a massive cold that I am treating with balsam tissues, mulled wine, lemsip and ibuprofen, which is not working as well as usual. I got the latest Jonathan Franzen book, ditto Dave Eggars, some DVDs (sopranos, pirates of the caribbean 2, power of art docu series) and some other odds and ends. I bought myself an iPod nano, which is what I really wanted, but I didn't know as my old pod / new cheapo player both died too close to Christmas to make any requests. My mum plans to watch dancing and then 'Doc Marten' on TV which will take up the next three hours so I will probably read one of those books or sleep or something because I feel truly shitty.
