Just saw this and it's absolutely electrifying, unbelievably funny, sexy, filthy, tender, sad. The overhead visualisation of New York is beautiful and the use of both sound and silence exquisite. The final scene at the club may be the most joyful thing I've ever seen. Justin Bond was so fucking good and his version of "In the end" at the end was so glorious. It triggered a lot of emotional nerves for me but was incredibly good. I think it's an interesting film that is quite challenging in many ways. I loved the music (animal collective, yo la tengo, hidden cameras) and think it works well with the film. Unfortunately the soundtrack isn't out here till January.

I'm rambling but yes. Go see!
