well on everyone really - this time of the year always gives me mixed feelings as much as i love celebrating with friends and my 'family', I really cannot stand this unseen and unspoken, almost agressive ITS CHRRRRRRIIIISTRMAS GET PISSSSSED AND LOOOOOL!!!! underlying feeling - no wonder people top themselves at this time of the year as they feel obliged to be MAAAAAD and WICKED and have to attend work parties having first glued up their tear ducts beforehand to hide the fact that there's other things in the world more pressing than receiving a christmas card from someone you work with who you actually care less about than yourself.

Its a beautiful time of year when you see old friends or members of the family you actually like and you think about the people you never see anymore and you pause to think of their welfare and hope they're ok, and you drink warming seasonal drinks and silly daft rich food and then fall asleep on the fire or something - but anything else barring parties with the people you love are just ultra tawdry and really should be avoided. I fear for the world sometimes.
