Bascially the same thing almost you could say - one big faceless corporation churning out massive hits at a rate of 5 a month. But the Brill Building is 'cool' and SAW is 'The Shit Factory', but really if mass produced pop using talented songwriters and singers (this is where SAW/PWL fell very flat) and bands can produce such wonders that are now deemed 'timeless', could this be the case in the next ten years for Big Fun, Rick Astley and Sonia?

Or maybe its time for another, more crediable hit factory based on the 60s model, but using 21 century techniques. Also is Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh the new Larry Parnes??
