well, seeing as i can't drive i'm left with planes, trains and buses. unfortunately i'm stupid and forgot to look at booking a train until today so the sleeper's to Inverness are all booked up, looks like its Megabus or National Express all the way, ouch :(

Surprisingly though it takes about the same amount of time as the train.
