I've just remembered that when i was at school and in the midst of teenagey angsty despair, i used to annotate the textbooks and desks i was using with positive and comical messages for future generations of readers.

I especially liked doing it at the most mind meltingly boring bits of the book, just when people would be losing all hope.

Anyone used to do anything similar?
