Girls & diets

smilingcrazylady [Edit] [Delete] 10:57, 14 December '06

I'm experimenting with a diet for one week only, having had a bit of an excessive weekend last weekend and more of the same coming up this weekend my flatmate and I are experimenting with the no carbs thing this week, to see what effect it'll have in 6 days.

The biggest thing it's highlighted to me is the fact that every single girl I mention it to is an expert on some kind of diet or other. I can ask any question about calories, food combining, fat content blah blah blah and someone within a 5m radius will be able to give me the answer.

Why can't we just realise as girls that the only real answer is to eat what you like in moderation. It's bizarre, it's such a big topic, I don't really know what my point is. It seems odd that virtually every woman (and man)feels that if they change their body in some way, they're going to be happier.

What I really want right now is some weetabix and a logical train of thought so I can do some work..
