Stadium snowman thrown in river

A giant snowman has been stolen from a festive theme park at the Millennium Stadium and thrown in the River Taff.

Really? Warrants a FULL page on the bbc website??

My favourite quote in the story:

"We are appealing to the public, especially boat owners, to keep a sharp look out.

The snowman is described as weighing 12st (76kg) is wearing a pink scarf, bowler hat and waistcoat and has "piercing" blue eyes.

Why have they offered a full description? Just how many giant plastic snowmen have gone missing in Cardiff recently?
