Im quite haunted by all types of thunder and loud fast planes in the sky - in fact anything in the sky gets me that way - and as a kid I was too scared to go on a steam train as the noise was 'horrifying' me according to my mum, yet one of my most fave gigs was MBV in 1992 and one of my friend's ears bled. Anyone else scared/entranced by noise?

I think the love of noise and the creation of it is one big 'fuck you' to the uncontrollable power of death. Noise is something we can be in control of and therefore something special even if we all feel differently about its values.
