last.fm (not the charts)

crablin [Edit] [Delete] 01:58, 4 December '06

In the years I've been using last.fm and Audioscrobbler, I've had next to nothing to complain about, server reliability issues aside.

However, I fear that the site itself is losing something.

The user experience is beginning to suffer at the hands of a constant desire to add more and more features. It's getting to the stage now, where despite my years of computing experience in both a hobbyist and professional capacity, the site is becoming harder to navigate and more difficult to get a grasp upon.

I love the idea of integrating more and more content and features, but if they're not going to be presented in a way that makes them accessible and functional, then I don't want them getting in the way of my charts and tracks.

That said, the Dashboard is great for looking at what my friends are listening to.

Erm... DiScuss I guess.
