For Christmas I'm wanting something which will enable me to make music (although not an actual instrument like a guitar).The only problem is, i do not have a CLUE what would be a good thing to get or even what you CAN get. I have various instruments already, and want something that i can use in conjunction with them, if i need to. BASICALLY, if i want to make songs, by myself, what is the best piece of musical equipment to get?

I don't think I have a clue what i'm looking for, so any suggestions would be good. Sorry i don't make much sense
