Freedom of Speech

Panic [Edit] [Delete] 16:07, 23 November '06

Do you feel your's is in any way under threat?
-if so, by whom?
-in what form?

Do you think that freedom of speech was any more prevalent pre-9/11 and more importantly pre-Bush administration?

Is a determination in some to maintain their idea of freedom of speech leading to an arrogance and ownership of ideas? i present exhibit A: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/england/6175984.stm

Is an 'attack on free speech' simply a media scare campaign, in the vein of Sars and bird flu, that's simply worked?

Is freedom of speech making people unwilling to budge from their standpoints and is it in fact stifling debate?

DOES IT EVEN EXIST? if you don't live in a cave, on your own, in an uninhabited land, is there such a thing?

Are these questions somewhat leading? : D

It's not for a essay/disseration or whatnot by the way, I'm just curious what people here think about it.
