some would say telling racist jokes, no matter how ironic they are, only serves to condone racism and allow people like silly irish man in the 'assholes' thread to be as racist as they want.

i ask because recently, some of my friends have taken to constantly telling jokes about 'the blacks', 'the polish', 'the irish', 'the indians' etc. which they claim are merely making fun of white people who actually believe foreigners are retards...

if i tell them to shut up i get told i
a) don't understand irony
b) am only complaining because i'm irish
