Went there last night. All of my friends were thrown out because of totally unsubstantiated claims that one of the girls with us "on pills". These claims were made by the bouncers. Their evidence? Her mannerisms. She wasn't on pills, and she wasn't even drunk.

She was manhandled and removed from the venue by force. Even more amusingly, she has worked there behind the bar since September. She will be quitting today.

In a totally separate incident, but at the same time, I was asked by a bouncer to put my beer down on a table before going into the toilet (I have no idea why clubs demand you do this) because I could find no friend to hold onto it for me. About 30 seconds later I came out to see some guy walk up to the table, pick up my beer, and guzzle it.

I calmly pointed out that this was my beer, at which point the guy grabbed me by the neck, pushed me against the wall, got in my face and demanded that I stopped giving his bouncer attitude (I wasn't) because he was only trying to do his job (he wasn't - he was laughing along with this bonehead) and reminded me that it was HIS beer because it was in HIS club.

I left in disgust. I should have thumped this owner character. I'd have got barred but I never intend to go back anyway.

So yeah, in short, it's run by idiots. Don't go.
