i just had a bizarre conversation with someone i dont know, they phoned for my mum, i said she wasnt home. So im just expecting to take a message, and then she asks me if ive seen anymore big spiders lately?! i have no idea who this woman is, we then proceed to have a 5 min conversation about different types of spiders and their habitats, then she says she'll phone back later.

is it not strange to engage someone you dont know in conversation when your phoning for someone else? or is it just being friendly? maybe im just an unsociable person, i dunno. anyway, talking on the phone, its shit eh?
