should commercial whaling be allowed?

Whales, the largest living thing ever to exist on our planet and, for all we know, the universe. So some of you think it's ok to kill them savagely and drive them ever faster toward the brink of extinction under the excuse that they're just another food. Don't count me in. And Iceland, nice sagas you once protected for us. Don't stain your reputation now. If mankind were ever to become extinct I would consider it our sacred duty to at least ensure that whales outlive us.

Harold, Madrid
