Where in the sam hell do they come from? None in the flat, not ONE, until you happen to throw away some old fruit, and they suddenly there is a swarm of them hanging around the bin. I mean, they aren't IN the fruit are they? They don't just fly around sniffing through kitchen windows to see if there's any fruit around, or just hibernate until some appears.

It's WEIRD.
