Suggestion is that the reason Kevin Bond hasn't travelled with the Newcastle team is that he is in some way tangled up with the Panorama investigation into illegal bungs in football. Apparently the dirty blue $k@tes, Middlesboro and Bolton have all been asked for their opinion on a few things that this investigation has dug up.

Now, I'm not one for jumping to crazy conclusions, but apparently someone who didn't know he was being filmed was quoted as saying something along the lines of "I like bungs, and so does my boss". My guess is that if that was Kevin Bond, his boss at the time would have been old saggy-face himself, Harry Redkrapp, and that he would have either been at Southampton or where he is now.

Either way, shouldn't Panorama just be allowed to present the evidence they have, as they have it?
