Calling Cards

prole-art-threat [Edit] [Delete] 14:53, 6 September '06

wouldn't it be great, like in old fashioned times (that makes me sound really thick but I did that deliberate like)kfxgkghkghk

oh start again!

Wouldn't it be great if we,(male and female) like gentlemen of leisure AND profession, (this would of course be extended to women but I am painting the picture in context, yah) had calling cards to leave when people weren't in, or to hand out when one meets someone. (am ignoring modern day business cards here)

Imagine it - coming back from the Barfly (where else) and finding, amongst the loose change, flattened fag packet, calling cards from Mr C.Roberts, My T.Linay and Mr. Grindrod

OR - you arrive home after a long day of rocking pompously on your heels in your club or nodding off over the Late Edition, and you find, on your silver tray in the hallway, calling cards from Ms. N Squirrel, Mrs J.Fella, Mr G Forconnor-Oberst esq, or god forbid, plain old Johnny Trainers (which i bet was his punk name)

I mean come on calling cards would be ace, don't you think???
