Possibly the greatest debate facing mankind today - do cans of soup really contain 2 servings?

theguywithnousername [Edit] [Delete] 11:24, 24 August '06

This week, due to spending all my cash over the weekend, I have been eating tinned soup every day to save money on food.

Yesterday I noticed on the can that it said "this can contains 2 servings". Clearly that's bollocks isn't it?

I mean I'm a relatively big guy but surely there can't be all theese people in the world who find half a can of soup adequate nourishment (if the soup is being eating as a meal, even with bread and cheese).

So my question is this: Do I eat twice as much as everyone else in the country or are the soup-makers taking the piss if they expect people to get 2 meals out of one can?
