*The Wisconsin Death Trip - Lo-fi like Velvet Underground/Granddaddy

*The Ape Drape Escape - Crazy punk like Pistols/Iggy great live band

*Kimeera - Alt rock stuff like Pixies/Sonic Youth

*Chuck - Garage/Surf

*Smokers Die Younger - Pavementy style cool

*Texas Pete - More garage Surf

There are many more too, but these are among the best.
