i've come to the conclusion that Dis (and playlouder and occasionally nme.com) is to me the same as soap operas are to so many - an evolving storyline filled with titlle tattle to tattle titteringly and titillate my friends.
to look at it more holistically, its like the "real" news to me, and soapfans treat the street and the square as a news desk.
