Since there's a dream guitar thread running I thought it was only fair to give a mention to Link Wray who I've just found out died on 5th November.

One of the most influental guitarists in the mould of Dick Dale, Duane Eddie etc. Pete Townshend is often credited with inventing the power chord, Link Wray was using it about a decade before him.

I was fortunate enough to see him live in Glasgows Cathouse on 4/4/96 and he put on a great show.
